Upcoming Conference
New Mexico
October 16-21, 2009
Hosted by New Mexico Magazine
“One very productive aspect of the IRMA conferences is the informal sharing of information, everything from contributors’ fees to good advertising strategies. Questions come up outside the formal presentations in the spirit of working together.“
-Elizabeth Folwell,
Creative Director
Adirondack Life
This is sure to be your best opportunity of the year to pick up tips and tricks for surviving and thriving in the downturn!
The staff at New Mexico Magazine is planning a wonderful program for the 2009 conference in Santa Fe, but one that recognizes the tight budgets most of us are working with.
Sessions will focus on cost savings and efficiency , with topics such as marketing in a poor economy; cash flow, “separation of church and state”, evaluating good web talent, contributors’ contracts, reader generated content, workflow, soft proofing, the new newsstand, and more.
The conference is open only to IRMA members. You must be registered for the conference and a member of IRMA, or receive a special invitation, to attend the conference. Registration forms will be available in the Members-Only area of this Web site when they are ready.
